Biography
Erna Milien, Esq. is the founder and Managing Attorney of Milien Law Practice, PLLC, where she leads a results‑driven practice focused on Family Law, Immigration, and Personal Injury. For more than half a decade, she has dedicated her career to protecting vulnerable families, advocating for immigrants, and securing justice for injured clients across Florida.
Attorney Milien earned her Juris Doctor from WMU Cooley Law School in Riverview, Florida, graduating with Distinction and earning placement on the Dean’s List. She also holds a Bachelor of Arts in Health Care Administration, cum laude, from Ashford University in Clinton, Iowa.
Erna is an active member of the Florida Bar, the Family Law Section of the Florida Bar, the Collier County Bar Association, the Family Law Section of the Collier County Bar, and the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA). She is also a Florida Supreme Court Certified Family Mediator, a Certified Civil Mediator, and a Florida Notary Public.
In addition to her legal practice, Erna is deeply committed to community service. She proudly serves as a Board Director for The Shelter for Abused Women & Children of Naples, Co‑Chair of the NAACP Legal Redress Committee of Naples, and an active member of the Naples Women’s Club.
Before founding her firm, Erna served as a Staff Attorney for Legal Aid Service of Collier County, where she focused on domestic violence, divorce, and family law litigation. She previously worked as an advocate for the Shelter for Abused Women & Children, providing direct support to survivors navigating crisis situations.
As an immigrant, a survivor of domestic violence, a divorcee, and a former advocate for battered women, Erna brings a uniquely empathetic and informed perspective to her work. She understands her clients’ struggles on a personal level and is driven by a singular purpose: to be the voice for those who cannot speak for themselves.
Through relentless dedication, rigorous litigation practice, and continuous professional development, Erna has honed her expertise across all three of her practice areas, earning a reputation for strength, compassion, and unwavering advocacy.
